Contact Form

If you send us a request via the contact form, we process the information you provide in the form (first name, email address and optionally last name, phone number and message) in order to handle your request and in case of follow-up questions. You will also receive an automatic confirmation of receipt at the email address you provided.

Your request is transmitted by email via the mail server of our email provider netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Straße 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany, and stored there.

To prevent abuse, we briefly process your IP address when you submit the form in order to limit the number of requests per sender. This information is only kept in memory and discarded after 15 minutes at the latest. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile (see "Cloudflare Turnstile").

The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your request relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Your first name and email address are required so that we can reply to you.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been handled). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

5. Plugins and Tools

Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect our contact form against spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Cloudflare").

Turnstile is only loaded on our contact page. Cloudflare uses technical signals to check whether an input comes from a human or an automated program. For this purpose, in particular your IP address, your browser's user agent, technical connection characteristics (e.g. TLS fingerprint) and information about the visited page are transmitted to Cloudflare. When you submit the form, we send the verification result and your IP address to Cloudflare to confirm the check. As a rule, you do not have to solve image puzzles or similar tasks.

We use Turnstile on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in protecting our contact form against spam and abuse. Insofar as information is stored on or read from your device, this is based on Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG, as it is strictly necessary for sending the form at your request.
